Feedback from Crit..

Summary of what I need to do for each of the assessed outcomes..


Breadth of Research:

I need to continue with what I am doing here, I have gathered a fair bit of information but need to continue doing this in order to improve on it further. Maybe look into more primary sources. I need to write up my account/case study of mind design as I learnt a lot from this visit and I need to make it more clear in my book or at least on my blog.

Level of Analysis:

I need to evaluate responses to the questionnaires and be more consistent with the evaluations that I have done. Personal opinion needs to be considered and why the work is there. I have started doing this but I think it does need to be more consistent as some of my earlier posts do not have much evaluation on them.

Organization of Material:

I don't think there are any problems here, I have been using labels to categorize the book and I think that has helped me to inform the book.


Design Development:

This is the weakest area. I kind of settled with just creating a book, and I knew I had done this because I was still unsure with what I wanted to do. I pretty much just did those layouts for the purpose of the presentation. Considering I was doing a book about innovation type applications - a book is not very innovative. Fred mentioned creating a series of posters with the back being like a patterned background with all the found A's B or C's. I picked up on this when I came across a book that had literally just gathered a whole series of found letters. I really liked this idea at first but I thought this was starting to consider aesthetic more than content.
